Founder of Bay Training Hub and Creator of the MASA® Programme

Dr Baylissa Frederick is an experienced therapist, accredited trainer, author and coach who has spent more than two decades working as a therapist and supporting individuals and families affected by prescribed drug dependence, withdrawal and associated injury.

Her work is grounded in compassion, lived experience, clinical understanding and many years of supporting people through complex and often misunderstood healing journeys.

Baylissa has designed and delivered a growing range of professional and personal development workshops and courses for counsellors, doctors, psychotherapists, coaches, support workers, caregivers and individuals navigating challenging life experiences. Her training covers areas such as prescribed drug injury, compassionate support, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, emotional wellbeing, coaching skills and trauma-informed practice.

She is an accredited trainer and Continuing Professional Development provider. Where indicated, courses offered through Bay Training Hub are CPD accredited. Some courses are designed for professional development, while others provide practical education, guidance and emotional support for individuals and families.

Baylissa is the author of Recovery and Renewal, With Hope in My Heart and Dearest Friend. She has supported thousands of people internationally through individual sessions, group programmes, written resources, guided meditations, professional training and her online healing community at baylissa.com.

She created the MASA® Programme as a gentle and practical framework to help people navigate emotional and psychological challenges with greater kindness, understanding and hope.

A Gentle and Compassionate Approach

Baylissa’s approach is calm, practical and deeply compassionate. She understands that healing from prescribed drug injury, trauma, chronic illness and other difficult life experiences can be frightening, isolating and hard to explain to others.

Her courses do not minimise suffering or promote forced positivity. Instead, they offer clear information, thoughtful guidance and practical tools that can help participants feel more informed, supported and confident in their ability to cope, heal and move forward.
